Ultra Lightweight

Compiles to a ~3MB static binary. Far smaller than Python or Node.js runtimes, or even Golang.

Zero Dependencies

Fully static build using Musl. Runs on Alpine, CentOS 7, or bleeding edge Arch Linux without issues.

Kernel Requirement

Linux kernel 5.1+ is recommended. Some features (e.g., io_uring disk I/O) depend on kernel support and may be unavailable on older kernels.

Why use Calyx?

Numbers don't lie. Efficiency matters.
